Part 2 (Long Turn / Cue Card)

Part 1 (Introduction & Interview)

Topic Shoes

Do you like buying shoes?

Yes, I like having comfortable and stylish shoes.

How often do you buy shoes?

Maybe twice a year, or when my old ones wear out.

What kind of shoes do you like?

I prefer casual shoes that are comfortable for daily use.

Do you care about fashion when it comes to shoes?

Not much — I care more about comfort and quality.

Part 2 (Long Turn / Cue Card)

Describe a film you would like to watch again. You should say:

 What the film is.

– When you first watched it.

– Who you watched it with.

– And explain why you would like to watch it again.

One film I’d love to watch again is The Pursuit of Happyness. I first watched it about four years ago
with my family on a weekend. It’s based on a true story and stars Will Smith as a father struggling to
build a better life for his son.
I found this film so inspiring because it shows how someone can keep going even when life gets
really hard. The father in the story never gives up, no matter how many times he fails. I watched it
with my parents and my sister, and I remember we all felt emotional but motivated after watching it.
I’d like to watch it again because I feel like I’d understand it better now. Sometimes, rewatching a
good film can give you new ideas or help you see things you missed before. Also, I think this movie is
great for reminding us to stay hopeful and work hard for our goals. Whenever I feel stressed about
my studies or my future, I think about this film and feel stronger. So, I’d love to watch it again with
my family to feel that motivation once more.

Part 3 (Discussion)

Topic: Films

Why do some people prefer watching films to reading books?

Films are more visual and entertaining, so they’re easier to follow.

How do films influence people’s behaviour?

They can inspire people or change how they see life.

Do you think watching films at home is better than in the cinema?

At home is more comfortable, but the cinema feels more exciting.
