Part 1 (Introduction & Interview) Topic: Films

Do you like watching films?

Yes, I love watching films because they help me relax.

What kind of films do you prefer?

I like action and comedy films the most.

How often do you watch films?

I watch a film about once a week, usually at home.

Do you prefer watching films at home or in the cinema?

I prefer watching at home because it’s more comfortable and cheaper.

Part 2 (Long Turn / Cue Card)

Describe a skill that was difficult for you to learn. You should say:

what it was

when you learned it

why you learned it

and explain why it was difficult.

One skill that was hard for me to learn was driving. I learned it two years ago because I needed to travel to university. At first, I was really nervous about driving on busy roads. It was difficult because I had to focus on so many things at once, like the mirrors, signals, and other cars. But after practising a lot, I got better and now I feel more confident driving alone.

Part 3 (Discussion) Topic: Learning New Skills

Do you think it’s important to learn new skills?

Yes, because it helps people grow and adapt to changes.

What skills should children learn at school?

They should learn basic life skills like communication and teamwork, not just academic subjects.

Is it easier for young people or old people to learn new skills?

I think young people learn faster, but older people can still learn if they stay motivated.
