Part 1 – Introduction & Interview (Topic: Clothes)

Do you like shopping for clothes?
Yes, I enjoy it, but I don’t do it very often. I like finding clothes that are comfortable and look good on me.

What kind of clothes do you usually wear?
I usually wear casual clothes like jeans and T-shirts. At work, I dress more formally.

Are clothes important to you?
They are to some extent. I think clothes help us express our personality and make a good impression.

Have you ever worn a uniform?
Yes, I had to wear a uniform at school. I didn’t mind it because it made getting ready in the morning easier.

Part 2 – Cue Card

Describe an interesting animal you have seen. You should say:

  • what the animal was
  • where you saw it
  • what it looked like
  • and explain why you found it interesting.

One interesting animal I saw was a panda. I saw it at a wildlife park when I was on holiday with my family about five years ago.

The panda was sitting under a tree, eating bamboo. It was black and white, with a round face and big eyes that made it look really cute. It moved quite slowly and seemed really calm.

I found it interesting because pandas are quite rare and I’d only seen them on TV before. I learned that they eat a lot of bamboo every day and spend most of their time sleeping or eating. Seeing it up close made me realise how gentle and unique these animals are. It was an unforgettable experience because it made me appreciate how important it is to protect endangered species.

Part 3  (Discussion) Topic: Animals

Do you think it’s important to protect wild animals?
Yes, it’s very important because animals keep the balance of nature. If we lose them, it can affect the whole ecosystem.

Why do some people keep pets?
People keep pets for company, for fun, and because animals can make us feel happier and less lonely.

Is it right to keep wild animals in zoos?
I think it depends. Zoos can help protect endangered animals and teach people about them, but animals should have enough space and good living conditions.
