An activity I really enjoy doing with my family is having a barbecue in our backyard. We usually do
this once every month, especially when the weather is nice. It’s a great way for us to spend time
together and relax after a busy week.
My parents, my siblings, and sometimes my cousins join us too. Everyone has a role. My father
usually takes care of the grill, my mother prepares the salads and drinks, and my brother and I help
set up the chairs and tables. While the food is cooking, we play music, talk, and sometimes play
simple outdoor games like badminton.
I enjoy this activity because it brings everyone together. We talk about our week, share stories, and
joke around. It feels warm and comforting to spend this time with the people I love. Also, the food
tastes amazing when we cook it ourselves, especially the grilled meat and vegetables.
Another reason I like it is that it gives us a chance to be outdoors and take a break from our phones
and daily stress. We get fresh air, enjoy nature, and really connect with each other. These small
family moments make me feel happy and remind me how important family is.
