Last year, I gave advice to my cousin about choosing a university course. He wasn’t sure what to study, so I suggested he pick something he really enjoys and is good at. I gave this advice because I made the same mistake before by choosing something just for money. He felt grateful for my advice and finally chose a course he’s really happy with.

Because they worry it might be wrong or not taken well.

It depends — friends understand you, but family knows you deeply.
