Part 1 (Introduction & Interview) Topic: Daily Routine
What’s your daily routine like?
I wake up early, go to work, exercise in the evening, and relax with my family at night.
Do you usually do the same things at the same time each day?
Yes, mostly, because having a routine keeps me organised.
Is your daily routine different at the weekend? [Why/Why not?]
Yes, it’s different because I sleep in, meet friends, or spend time outdoors.
Do you think it’s important to have a daily routine? [Why/Why not?]
Yes, because it helps me manage my time better and reduces stress.
Part 2 (Long Turn / Cue Card)
Describe a film you saw or a book you read that made you think a lot. You should say:
– what it was
– when you saw/read it – what it was about – and explain why it made you think a lot.
One book that made me think a lot was To Kill a Mockingbird. I read it last year. It’s about racism and justice in a small town. It made me think about how unfairly people can be treated because of their background. I liked it because it showed the importance of standing up for what’s right, even when it’s hard. It really opened my mind and made me see things differently.
Part 3 (Discussion) Topic: Books and Films
Do you think books are more educational than films?
Yes, usually, because books give more details and help you use your imagination.
Why do some people prefer to watch films rather than read books?
Because films are faster and more entertaining for some people.
Do you think reading habits will change in the future?
Yes, people might read more online or listen to audiobooks instead of reading paper books.
